I used to love ClOpens. Closing the store, then opening it back up the next morning. Now, I hate it because of what it does to my sleep, which affects my brain, my body, my hunger hormones, my temperament, everything. No physical exercise today besides extended standing, leaning, lifting, etc.

Today I watched a video that is a total game changer! Nick Slowiak on GoSports talking about gunzup.com, which is a progam that we could only dream about 15-20 years ago. You can literally walk a field layout digitally! Now there’s absolutely no excuse for someone not knowing every single angle heading into an event. I don’t know if this is going to slow the field down or speed it up, but this service is TREMENDOUSLY useful to tournament paintball players, and best of all, it’s totally FREE!
I’m going to be spending every single day leading up to the World Cup “walking” the layout. I hope one day I get to repay GunzUp!
Another aspect that blows my mind is with this program, players can submit their own ideas for field layouts! Is that sick or what?
I’m interested to see what the rules of the game are going to be like early next year at the Combine. Is there going to be the shot clock system? Is split deck still going to be around? Is the wall still going to appear? I guess that’s more for Xball than for 5-man. I’m glad the sport is still evolving, and everyone’s opinions seem like they’re being heard.
